I go by Karin here, my middle name, but much of the internet knows me by Kelsey Hawley.  I’m a habitual knitter, dabbling writer, and coder by trade.  I grew up in the central valley of California, farming country, but currently reside in San Francisco.

I live with my two dogs one dog, a rescue named Clover, as of April 2015.

My pup of 15 years (yes, we had her parents, so she’s been with me since birth), Patchy, passed in August of 2015.  Much of my early blog is devoted to my struggle with her aging and dying before my eyes.  I will always love her and miss her dearly.
